Annotation:
The article is devoted to the main issues of laboratory diagnosis of reproductively significant infections. Based on many years of research conducted in the department of medical microbiology of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductology named after. BEFORE. Otta”, an algorithm for microbiological examination of patients in the presence of urogenital or transplacental infections was proposed. The importance of using microscopic examination as a screening and molecular biological studies to assess vaginal microbiocenosis is emphasized.
