Annotation:

Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is one of the most common reasons for visiting a gynecologist and performing intrauterine interventions. AUB reduce the quality of life of women, causing iron deficiency anemia, and determine the social and clinical significance of the problem. The choice of treatment for AUB should be based on the results of a comprehensive diagnosis of their causes, taking into account the woman’s age, reproductive plans and concomitant diseases, as well as the balance of benefits and risks of the prescribed therapy and the patient’s personal preferences.
