Annotation:

Lichen sclerosus of the vulva (LSV) is a chronic disease with a relapsing course, characterized by itching, focal changes on the vulva and disruption of the structure of the external genitalia. There are many methods for treating this pathology. It is relevant to analyze modern methods of treating SLE, including our own experience in using the dynamic quadripolar radiofrequency technique (DQRFTM) in the treatment of women with SLE.

Purpose of the review: to present current data on the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic capabilities, management tactics and treatment methods for SLE, the effectiveness and safety of the use of dynamic quadripolar radio frequency (DQRFTM) in the treatment of women with SLE.

Material and methods. The information material includes data from scientific articles on the topic under discussion, contained in PubMed and the Russian electronic library eLibrary.ru and published over the past 20 years. Basic provisions. The review presents issues of etiology, pathogenesis, modern diagnostic capabilities and tactics for managing patients with SLE. The results of recent studies on the safety and effectiveness of modern types of therapy for the treatment of SLE (dynamic quadripolar radiofrequency (DQRFTM)) are analyzed.

Conclusion. Correct tactics for managing patients with SLE helps to avoid long-term and ineffective therapy, which is especially important when treating young women of reproductive age, and also allows for significant improvement in condition and well-being when using dynamic quadripolar radiofrequency therapy (DQRFTM) in this group of patients.
