The question of the relationship between cerebral microangiopathy and various subtypes of ischemic stroke remains open. The effect of cerebral microangiopathy on the course of ischemic stroke is currently being studied.

The article discusses the relationship between cerebral microangiopathy and ischemic stroke, their influence on each other and clinical outcomes. The study of these diseases is important to resolve the issue of a personalized approach to such patients in order to achieve the most effective and safe treatment with minimal risks of complications.
